Author(s): 이주혁
Abstract: Researchers have developed energy generator with piezoelectric and triboelectric properties as a renewable energy source that can convert mechanical energy into electricity. In addition, considering the low power consumption features of various portable devices, wearable devices, numerous sensors for internet of things (IoT), and body implantable devices, the concept of power generation through energy generation from environmental sources has gained great attention. As well-known, the energy generating device based on triboelectric effect have the advantages of high output, simple design, low cost, flexibility, thin device packages, and light weight. To date, the design and development of device structures, materials and systems has been intensively investigated for improving their output performance. ur major goal is designing and development of energy generation materials and device for the realization of self-powered electronics. In this presentation, I will introduce recent investigation of triboelectric materials and their applications.</summary>
