Abstract
As the technology of artificial intelligence and IoT(internet of things) develops, many methods are proposed to reduce the labor cost and the management expense. Recently, a rapid increasement of labor costs led the employer to invest in an unmanned system where they do not have to hire people or they minimally hire employees. In this paper we propose an efficient authentication and encryption algorithms by which the employer can continuously record the usage time of customers at a study cafe or working time of employees at a factory. Although well-known digital signatures based on RSA Assumption can give almost the same solution as the proposed algorithm, their computational cost is much greater than the proposed algorithm since they basically use modular exponentiation or something like that for signing and verification keys. The proposed algorithm uses one digital signature and one publick key encryption algorithm only for Hash Chain key setup. Then it uses XORed hash values as authentication key to persistently authenticate a user and a place. Since hash computation is much more efficient than computation of the digital signature, the proposed algorithm is a solution suitable for the unmanned system.
