- Abstract
- We report a time resolved second harmonic generation (tr-SHG) microscopy to study the phonon/exciton dynamics and the electronic structure of atomically thin MoS2. The transient nature of tr-SHG imaging critically permitted us to identify the structure-dependent feature of carrier dynamics with ~ 300 nm optical resolution. Also, the carrier dynamics and electronic structure of exfoliated ReS2 crystals studied using tr-SHG microscopy will also be briefly introduced. The tr-SHG microscopy should pave a new road towards ultimate understanding of the time-dependent physics of 2D materials and its hybrids.
