Abstract
In this study, an in-vitro microphysiological network of five different micro-organs has been established on a 96-well format-based microfluidic device to realize the body-on-a-chip. Five types of 3D organotypic microtissues (MTs); Cortical neuronal (CN), Hippocampal neuronal (HN) brain (Br), Cardiac (Cd), Liver (Li) and Tumor (Tm) MTs, were fluidically interconnected and co-cultured in the device over 8 days in order to mimic cortexhippocampus-heart-liver-tumor network in-vitro. © 2019 CBMS-0001.
