본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예로서 근적외선 분광신호에서 노이즈를 제거하는 장치는 기능적 근적외선 분광법에 의해 두피의 복수개의 위치에 근적외선 신호를 조사할 때 출력되는 복수개의 측정 채널로부터 혈류역학적 반응신호를 획득하는 fNIRS신호획득부;웨이블릿 수축 방식에서 이용하는 각각의 웨이블릿 임계밴드마다 문턱치값 Γm을 계산하는 다중문턱치값계산부; 및 상기 각각의 웨이블릿 임계밴드마다 상기 계산된 문턱치값 Γm을 적용하여 노이즈를 제거하는 노이즈제거부;를 포함한다.
