유연성 LCD, 유연성 OLED, 전자종이 및 유연성 태양전지 등과 같이 유연성 전자소자 산업이 활성화 되고 있다. 본 고에서는 이러한 유연성 전자소자 제작에 이용되는 유연성 기판의 기술개발 현황 및 전망을 제시하였다. 유연성 기판으로는 박막유리, 메탈호일 및 플라스틱 기판으로 분류될 수 있으며, 각각의 장단점으로 응용분야가 상이하였다. 저가의 플라스틱 기판을 응용하려는 연구가 가장 많이 진행되고 있으며, 요구되는 다양한 성질 중에서 가장 중요한 내열성과 가스차단성이 획기적으로 개선되고 있다. |
