뇌전증과 관련된 miRNA 및 그의 치료제, 진단용 조성물, 및 질환 동물 모델에의 용도에 관한 것으로, 일 양상에 따른 miRNA를 억제할 수 있는 물질에 의하면, KCNQ2의 발현을 증가시켜 뇌전증과 관련된 뉴런 흥분성을 감소시키므로 뇌전증의 치료에 유용하게 사용될 수 있고, 그를 바이오 마커로 하는 뇌전증 진단 방법에 사용될 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 질환 동물 모델에도 유용하게 사용될 수 있는 효과가 있다.
