dc.description.abstract A zwitterionic SiO2 composite membrane (PFSA/Z-SiO2) is designed and fabricated for a zinc/bromine flowless battery (ZBFLB). The composite membrane exhibits low Br-2 crossover and high ion conductivity. The optimized ZBFLB configuration with the PFSA/Z-SiO2 membrane showed excellent coulombic efficiency (89.4%) and stable operation for over 1800 hours at a high state of charge. -
