dc.description.abstract In this paper, we analyze the effect of the finite blocklength on the data freshness in multi-user multiple-input single-output (MISO) networks, where a base station (BS) equipped with multiple antennas serves users. We first characterize the network model and the spectral efficiency in the finite blocklength regime. We then define the age of information (AoI) violation ratio, which consists of the precoding vector and the AoI violation threshold. Furthermore, we consider an optimization problem that minimizes the AoI violation ratio of multiple users and show proposed method outperforms baseline methods in terms of the AoI violation ratio. © 2022 IEEE. -
