dc.description.abstract In non-terrestrial networks (NTNs), the uptilted antenna for base stations (BSs) has been considered to serve most aerial users (AUs) with a main-lobe, which however results in severe interference from the other sectors of associated BS. Therefore, we propose the intra-site coordinated multi-point transmission (ISCoMP), where multiple sectors of the BS (i.e., site) serve an AU. Specifically, we propose the parallel algorithm to determine the serving AUs of each sector for ISCoMP, which maximizes the sum spectral efficiency. Finally, we show the effect of antenna tilt angles and the superiority of the proposed scheme on the baselines. © 2024 IEEE. -
