본 발명은 서버와 클라이언트 간의 통신을 통해 디바이스를 관리하는 방법에 관한 것으로서, 디바이스 관리 서버가 디바이스에 대한 관리명령을 전송함에 있어서 관리명령이 유지되도록 하는 유지명령을 추가하거나 관리명령 내에 유지속성을 포함시킴으로써, 디바이스의 관리 상태에 변화가 발생하더라도 서버로 불필요한 메시지를 전송하지 않고 관리명령에 따른 관리 상태가 유지될 수 있도록 하는 디바이스 관리 서버 및 그 방법을 제공한다.
