Polymer PhotoCatalysts Laboratory

Polymer PhotoCatalysts Laboratory cover image

Illuminating the Future with Polymer Photocatalysts.
Visible light photocatalysis is opening new doors in synthetic chemistry and paving the way for a more sustainable future in the chemical and energy industries. Yet, the lack of photocatalysts that combine high energy efficiency, low cost, and long-term stability has kept this promising technology from reaching its full potential. This is exactly where the SK Lab steps in. Leveraging our expertise in polymer chemistry and photocatalysis, we are developing the next generation of high-performance polymer photocatalysts. Our goal goes far beyond simply enabling photocatalytic reactions — we're building solutions that support energy-saving, eco-friendly, and sustainable innovation across industries. Our current focus lies in a versatile nano-sized polymer photocatalyst platform, built around two key components: Conjugated Polymer Networks & Polymeric Dispersants. With this powerful combination, we're creating polymer photocatalysts that are stronger, more energy-efficient, and more durable than ever before. We aim to achieve sustainable organic transformations and unprecedented solar-to-fuel conversion efficiencies. At Polymer PhotoCatalysts Lab, we’re not just keeping up with the future — we’re shaping it.
