Our research objective is to understand the mechanisms of genetic and epigenetic control of aging and multi-stress responses in plant through molecular genetics and multi-omics approaches.
To pursue the objective, we carry out the following research projects.
1.Investigate the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms underlying leaf senescence and multi-stress responses in plants2.Investigate small peptide-mediated control of plant senescence and stress responses3.Investigate the coordination programs for leaf growth and senescence4.Decipher the regulatory mechanisms on cell division and aging in plant stem cells5.Establish experimental systems to examine the spacio-temporal dynamics of aging control in plant roots
