Cancer Epigenetics Lab12
Overview
Epigenetic regulations are fundamental for development and maintenance of stage in post-differentiation. Because numerous genes related to development were regulated in epigenetic manner, the disorganization of epigenetic regulation can lead to uncontrolled gene expression and malignant cellular transformation. Global epigenetic changes are a hall mark of all types of cancer. My lab is interested in how epigenetic regulation is involved in tumorigenesis in the brain.
Research Summary
1. Epigenetic changes in Adult gliomas
2. Targeting childhood gliomas by interrupting epigenetic and metabolic pathways
