Lab of Neuro-Metabolism & Neurometabolomic Research Center54
Our laboratory is based on the study aims to identify the mechanisms related to hormones, metabolism and energy homeostasis in neurons caused by nutritional signals to the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases, and neurodegenerative disease.
1) Mechanistic study on roles of hormones and energy sensors in the regulation of food intake and energy homeostasis
2) Communication between brain (Central nerve system) and body (Peripheral system) based on metabolic signals
3) Target screening for potential drugs for appetite control
4) Analysis of metabolic pathway network using metabolomics for development of clinical diagnosis marker
Advisor Professor : Kim, Eun-Kyoung
