In-depth Proteomics Advance in mass spectrometry has enabled researchers to explore a proteome in a day very rapidly. Nonetheless, in-depth proteome analysis in a given time is still challenging due to the complexity of the proteome. I have contributed to optimizing methodologies to increase the rate of protein identifications. For example, I systematically assessed impacts of parameters on protein/peptide identification. In addition, I have proved that alternative fragmentation method by combining CID to ETD improves site localization of phosphorylation.
