The Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics and Control Laboratory conducts cutting-edge research at the intersection of motion platforms, aerial systems, and advanced control theory. Our work on motion platforms explores novel driving mechanisms, actuators, and human–machine interfaces to enhance dynamic motion control. In aerial systems, we focus on urban air mobility, UAV technologies such as tilt-rotor, helicopter, and multirotor platforms, thrust vectoring mechanisms, and biologically inspired flapping bird robots, with an emphasis on autonomous flight control. Complementing these applications, our research in control theory addresses time-delayed systems, robust control, and optimal control, providing the theoretical foundation for resilient and efficient intelligent mechatronic systems.
