- Abstract
- A powder-based electroluminescent (EL) device in which individual luminescent particles act as a light emitting source preserves the light emitting device characteristics of the device upon bending or deformation. This property is one of the outstanding advantages of powder-based EL devices and has attracted attention as a promising technique for next generation devices such as artificial skin. In this study, we report on the improvement of the luminescence efficiency of the powder-based DC-driven electroluminescent devices using the poly-N-vinyl carbazole (PVK) thin film in the hole injection layer. In this study, we will also discuss ways to improve the EL brightness.
