Abstract
In this paper, we propose a real-time lane detection method using a monocular camera installed in an autonomous vehicle. The image acquired from the camera is transformed into the top-view image by removing the perspective, and the feature-map is generated using Canny edge method. Then, candidate points similar to lane features are extracted from the feature-map, and the connected points are grouped by using clustering algorithm. Ego lane is selected as a pair of the groups of the detected lanes closest to the center of the vehicle.
