Abstract
In the previous studies, various sensor placement methods for sensor networks have been introduced. However, an important issue to consider when deploying sensors is the sensor network configuration cost and capability. In other words, sensors should be placed in consideration of coverage and connectivity between sensors. We model a sensor signal and deploy the sensors based on SVM (Support Vector Machine). In this paper, we construct a sensor network by considering cost and performance, and make a system for tracking the position of a moving object as well as a person in a detection area.
