The aim of the Division is to lead the converging industries through development and commercialization of novel ICT technologies. The Division contributes to global competitiveness of the regional specialized industries – ICT Convergence Industry, Robot Convergence Industry, and Automotive Parts Industry – carrying out convergence researches on source technologies and commercialization of holding technologies. It also plays a leading role in solving national social issues like ‘employment creation and technology commercialization by establishing technology-based joint ventures’ and ‘disaster prevention and sinkhole detection by utilizing core technologies. The ultimate goal of those converging technology and service development is ‘public safety and welfare’ and ‘innovation in high-tech production industry’.
