dc.description.abstract In this paper, we examine the effect of muscle to metabolic cost and acceleration of human body mass center in free walking. We use the open-source musculoskeletal simulation software OpenSim for walking simulation and analysis. We find the dominant muscle for metabolic cost and acceleration of human body mass center. -
