dc.description.abstract In recent years, there has been a significant problem of imbalance in the supply and demand for human resources for construction sites. To solve this problem, the development of construction robots and equipment has been actively carried out. This paper discusses a remote control method for chipping robots used for the maintenance of reinforced concrete box culverts. The remote control method for chipping robots consists of a task-command generation unit, task-information output unit, task-command transfer unit, task-information transmission unit, and wireless communication unit. The improvement of the remote control method for chipping robots will continue through constant performance testing to minimize the role of workers and maximize work efficiency. -
