IQSEC3 (IQ motif and Sec7 domain 3) 유전자 또는 단백질의 발현 또는 활성이 억제된 뇌전증 동물 모델, 상기 뇌전증 동물 모델을 제조하는 방법, 및 이를 이용한 뇌전증 치료제의 스크리닝 방법을 제공한다. 이에 따르면, 뇌전증 치료제의 개발 및 스크리닝에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
