Photo & Electrochemical Materials Science & Engineering Lab124
Research interests are synthesis, analysis and application of functional nano-materials for environmentally friendly renewable energy, such as photo(electro)catalysis, photovoltaic and heterogeneous catalysis.
A central goal of this work is relating (1) 3rd generation photovoltaics, including quantum dot devices and dye sensitized solar cells and (2) Solar fuels, including photocatalytic conversion of CO2 and water vapor to hydrocarbon fuels using sunlight and (3) the hydrogen generation via water photo-electro-catalysis.
