본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예로서, 촉감인식장치는 촉감센서를 이용하여 물체의 표면을 센싱한 촉감데이터 정보를 수신하는 수신부, 사용자 촉감함수 fuser(x)를 기초로 사용자가 상기 수신한 촉감데이터 정보를 선호하는지 판단하는 선호도판단부 및 상기 수신한 촉감데이터 정보에 대한 사용자 선호도를 표시하는 표시부;\를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
