dc.description.abstract | The demand of electric vehicles (EVs) is increasing because of environmental problems. However, the driving range of EVs is generally shorter than the internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEVs). To address the short driving range, an energy-oriented optimal torque distribution strategy is proposed and can directly consider the efficiency map of front and rear drivetrains. The proposed torque distribution algorithm can consider weightings which are the driving performance and efficiency indices corresponding to the states of the vehicle. The feasibility of the proposed torque distribution algorithm is validated by the simulation environment, which can depict the real driving environment. In order to compare with the proposed torque distribution algorithm, two conventional torque distribution algorithms are used. | - |
