Among many treatments, surgery is a fundamental and effective treatment method to cure the difficult disease like a cancer. DGIST Surgical Robotics & Augmented Reality Laboratory perform researches to change the personal surgery based on the knowledge, experiences, and intuition of each surgeon into the more objective, scientific, and general surgery. By using robot technologies such as a laparoscopic surgery robot and a bone drilling robot as well as surgical navigation with augmented and virtual reality, we provide new and advanced eye and hand for surgeons. The members are studying actively with the major hospitals of Korea, pursuing the excellence of technology and effectiveness to the patient treatment.If you are a potential student or researcher looking for possible research opportunities in surgical robotics fields, please feel free to contact me or students.
