Specialization of major fields
The Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering at DGIST aims to provide students with an international level of research competency. To this end , we focus on the core fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Science (CS),Electrical Engineering (EE), and Electrical Engineering Systems (EE Systems)so that we can have basic major knowledge.- Through high-efficiency cognitive computing platform and reliable artificial intelligence research, we are conducting research applied to various application fields such as computer vision/smart factory/medical/autonomous driving as well as basic research on advanced AI technology.
- Through research on hyper-connected autonomic computing systems and human-friendly intelligent computing, large-scale distributed data and computer resources are efficiently managed, and research is being conducted on a new concept of computing that considers cooperation with humans.
- Through research on next-generation human-centric electronic devices and biocompatible intelligent circuits and systems, we are conducting research to maximize the interconnection between humans and devices using advanced semiconductor technology and sensor data processing technology in the bio/medical field.
